published in the French Documentation by the Council of Economic Analysis and in collaboration with the CESD (Economic Council for Sustainable Development) and the Centre d’analyse stratégique.
The final report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) said the acceleration of global warming. Given the urgency of the situation, the Copenhagen Summit in December 2009 will determine the future of the fight against climate change.
Noting that the institutional response to the climate challenge has so far not lived up stakes, Jean Tirole sets the framework for what would be the point of view of an economist, a good agreement in Copenhagen in December 2009.
