Since the economic and financial crisis, the Sino-European relations have taken a new dimension and scope. Indeed, China and the EU are now linked not only by their important trade relations but also by their common interest in promoting a dynamic development, sustainable and balanced global economy.
This conference, organized May 23, 2011, allowed to consider the modalities for enhanced cooperation between China and countries of the European Union in three areas:
- resorption of global macroeconomic imbalances,
- financial regulation
- openness to foreign investment.
For each theme, the symposium provided an opportunity for representatives of national and international, European and Chinese researchers and business representatives to have extensive discussions on issues related to financing savings.
