During the french environmental conference in September 2012, the Government committed to the creation of a dedicated Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) platform, then it was the wish expressed collectively by many employers, trade unions and civil society to establish under the leadership of Prime Minister a platform to initiate an ambitious development of CSR.

This platform, which will be installed Monday, June 17 in the presence of Jean-Marc Ayrault, Prime Minister, will be a space for shared dialogue between all stakeholders and facilitate the implementation of a dynamic promotion of coherent and ambitious CSR. It will allow greater cooperation in the development of regulations, both national, and European and international, to enable greater ownership of CSR. Companies will be able to make an economic, social and environmental asset.

CSR platform will be made ​​on the basis of a balanced participation of all categories of stakeholders. CSR is a global issue ; consequently, the choice was made to give an inter-positioning the platform in accordance with the wishes of the members. The Commission for Policy Planning, as a newly created shared dialogue place, will therefore hold the platform, in conjunction with the Permanent Secretary.
